Transfac can trace its history back to 1942, when a company called Pacific Northwest Transportation Cooperative was formed to help its trucking company members with the back office functions of billing, collecting and bookkeeping. Soon, financing services were added, and the coop became Transportation Factoring Inc which was eventually shortened to “Transfac.”

No one has more experience in the transportation industry than Transfac. It’s obvious from the first time you talk to one of our staff and it’s reflected in in streamlined processes designed to deliver the maximum available funding in the shortest period of time.

To this day, Transfac is one of the few factoring companies with the knowledge and expertise to provide financing to freight brokers.
